About the Site (Information Only)

Content on the Site is provided for general information and booking. It is not technical, safety, or professional advice. For emergencies (e.g., suspected gas leak), contact your utility/emergency services immediately. Work on gas appliances in Ontario must be performed by licensed/certified personnel; where electrical permits are required, work must be performed by/under a Licensed Electrical Contractor. Eligibility & Your Responsibilities

You represent you are the age of majority in your province/territory and will use the Site for lawful purposes only. You are responsible for your devices, internet connection, and safeguarding any information used to submit forms or requests.

Privacy & Cookies

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which describe how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information, and how cookies/preferences operate under Canadian law (PIPEDA/CASL). Please review those policies before using the Site.

Intellectual Property & Limited Licence

All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio/video, software, and the compilation thereof) is owned by BSD or our licensors and is protected by Canadian and international laws.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Site for personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, mirror, frame, scrape, data-mine, or create derivative works from the Site or its content without our prior written consent, except as permitted by law.

Acceptable Use (Prohibited Activities)

You agree not to:

use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or infringes others’ rights;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, accounts, systems, or networks;
test, scan, overload, or disrupt the Site’s security or performance;
upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or automated scripts;
misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or the origin of information;
collect or harvest others’ personal information without consent.

User Submissions & Feedback

If you submit messages, reviews, files, or other content (collectively, “Submissions”), you grant BSD a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such Submissions in connection with operating and improving the Site and our services. You confirm you have all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your Submissions do not violate these Terms or any law.

Third-Party Links & Tools

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party tools (e.g., maps, analytics, payment gateways). These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, content, policies, or practices. Use them at your own risk.

Changes, Availability & Suspension

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We are not liable if the Site is unavailable for any period.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. Applicable laws may not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; to that extent, the above may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BSD AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site will not exceed CAD $100 (one hundred Canadian dollars) or the amount you paid us, if any, for Site access during the three months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BSD from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your Submissions, your misuse of the Site, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

Accessibility

We are committed to accessibility in accordance with Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR). For accessible formats or communication supports, please contact us (see Section 16).

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to conflict-of-law rules. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Term & Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Site. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a new “Effective date.” Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
